Event Recap -- Jay Rawlings Takes Part in Relay For MS

At the end of April, Jay Rawlings of Boulder, Colorado, ran seven marathons in seven days to benefit multiple sclerosis research. RecoFit was able to support Rawlings with calf compression sleeves and armcoolers to make his job just a little bit easier. And the result? According to Rawlings, his segment went "extremely well"!Although his segment of the MS Run the US was a success, Rawlings did end up running more mileage than expected due to an impassible road. As a result, Day 3 consisted of 29 miles and Day 4 was 50 miles. Despite the additional (and grueling) miles, Rawlings said that the desert "was beautiful and provided many amazing moments".

For daily reports from the event, check out Jay Rawlings' website.

Rawlings has a $10,000 fund raising goal and is only about 75% of the way there. He's still actively fundraising through September and is currently accepting donations.
